Buying luggage online is a different job from walking a shop floor: you cannot lift it, and you cannot wheel it up an aisle. This is the short version of how it works here, what it means for the price you pay, and where the limits are.

Where the price difference comes from

Two things, and neither of them is a trick. We work directly with manufacturers rather than buying through a distributor and a retail chain. And there is no shop front here, so there is no retail rent, no counter staff and no store fit-out sitting on top of the item.

Check the airline before you order

Every product page publishes the dimensions the supplier gives us, in centimetres. Cabin and underseat allowances differ by airline and by aircraft, and they are what actually catch people out at the gate, so check the carrier you are flying before you pick a size.

Reading a listing here

Every specification on a product page is the one the supplier publishes for that item. Where a figure is not published, the page says so and invites you to ask, rather than borrowing a number from a similar product. That is deliberate: a plausible specification you cannot stand behind is worse than an honest gap.

Warranties

We do not publish a manufacturer warranty period for these items, so we will not claim one. What you do have, on everything, are the implied warranties of merchantability and of fitness for a particular purpose that apply under the law of your state: in plain terms the goods have to be fit to be sold, match their description and suit what they are sold for. We give no written warranty, so under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act (15 U.S.C. 2301 and following) there is no written warranty here that could narrow them either.

Delivery and what it costs

Shipping is free across the United States on orders of $100 or more, and $25 below that. Express Shipping is $25 and is charged whatever the order is worth. Orders are handled in 24 to 48 hours and then take 5 to 7 days, so allow about a week end to end. A tracking number is emailed when the parcel actually ships, not when you order.

If you change your mind

You have 15 days from purchase to return an unused item in its original packaging. You pay the return postage using a tracked service, and that is the only cost to you. A faulty, damaged or wrongly described item is a different matter entirely: we repair it, replace it or refund it, we carry the return shipping, and no handling fee applies.
